Kevin is an attorney and consultant in New Haven where he’s been recognized by New England SuperLawyers™ for his work in civil litigation, copyright, and trademarks, and a music business consultant with his company Ecco Artist Services. He handled litigation, copyright & trademarks for small businesses, represented some of the best-known bars & restaurants in the Elm City.

Additionally, his practice included commercial property holdings, wills, & trusts, residential & commercial real estate deals & closings, foreclosures, land use, tax assessment appeals, and civil, property & foreclosure defense. He also maintained a talented roster of artists, entertainment & copyright clients including producers, singer-songwriters, DJs, novelists, screenwriters & performers. He remains licensed by the CT state & federal courts.

After ending private practice and entering the public sector, Kevin founded Ecco Artist Services, a full-service content rights management and music business consulting company. Ecco helps content creators establish copyrights in their original works and content, register those works, find membership in professional rights organizations that will assist in administering royalties for those works, and places those works across platforms on the world’s top streaming services. Ecco also offers trademark and brand consultation, info and messaging consistency across digital platforms social media and artist profile pages, and packaging and shopping catalogues for publishing.

He has been speaker, moderator, and panelist at conferences from Austin to Boston, and has advised companies, firms, and governmental agencies on case law, new legislation and proposed legislation, and best practices.

Kevin is a member of the Recording Academy, Copyright Alliance, the Americana Music Association and serves on the advisory board of SONA and on the nominating committee of the Boston Music Awards. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music.


Kevin teaches Entertainment Law at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where graduated cum laude in 2009. There he studied Intellectual Property & was awarded his diploma with honors, graduating with high honors in his IP concentration, as he also served as President of the Student Bar Association, President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and competed for the Mock Trial Honors Society.
